Claude Dumas, born in Roanne in 1955, is an artist who lives and works in Paris. Before being appointed professor at the Escuela Nacional Superior de Bellas Artes in 2002, he became known for his modernist design firm, founded in 1983. As a designer, he presented his work in numerous international exhibitions around the world. Working primarily in ceramics, her home designs are remarkably sculptural, inspired by 1970s art movements such as conceptualism and minimalism, creating works of art from objects we use daily, turning your kitchen shelves into an art gallery. Now a sculptor, he is also known for his various collaborations with other artists, such as Georges Jeanclos and Giuseppe Penone.
