Converse x DRKSHDW

The spirit of punk lives on in Converse's collaboration with one of fashion's essential iconoclasts, Rick Owens. It debuted during Rick Owens' fall 2021 show at the Lido, Venice, with the appearance of the union's first design, the TURBODRK Chuck 70, a subversive interpretation of Converse's Chuck Taylor All Star. This classic cultural signifier has been given the Rick Owen treatment: modern minimalism and contemporary luxury. With a square toe, two layers of rubber sole and, on some models, a pentagram that replaces the usual star symbol, this partnership absolutely fulfills Converse's stated goal, which is to "break conventions to advance fit, form and function.
