Collection: Marco Castro
With a background deeply rooted in art and culture, Marco brings a fresh, minimalist approach to makeup, blending artistry, storytelling, and identity. Beyond makeup, he explores storytelling through film, capturing themes of immigration and identity with elegance and intimacy.
Born in Lima, Perú, he spent over a decade as a global makeup artist for Nars, working alongside François Nars and developing a signature style that enhances natural beauty. Over the years, his refined touch has positioned him at the intersection of beauty, fashion, and art-Marco’s portfolio includes collaborations with industry icons like Pedro Almodóvar and Nan Goldin, as well as brands such as Cartier, Calvin Klein, and Nars. His work has been featured in i-D, Document Journal, CR Fashion Book, Vogue, and W, solidifying his influence in the creative world. As an immigrant in New York, Marco’s work reflects diverse communities and amplifies underrepresented voices. He partners with brands like Luar and Campillo. He has been part of Willy Chavarria’s creative team for eight years, collaborating with photographers such as Stefan Ruiz and Diego Bendezu to keep his work deeply rooted in cultural authenticity. For Marco, beauty isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about uplifting voices that matter.
