Ulla Johnson founded her eponymous line in 1998, right after graduating from college, and immediately caught the attention of the fashion press. With early backing from major fashion boutiques, she has developed a style rooted in the streets of New York and the family trips to remote destinations she took as a child with her archaeologist parents.
